Responsibilities
Your Role:
1. Report directly to a GIA Management and keep them up-to-date with emerging issues, audit progress and resourcing information;
2. Demonstrateprehension and ability to evaluate existing policies and procedures and identify controls;
3. Assist with planning scope and procedures with guidance from GIA management;
4. Develop audit programs by documenting steps to be performed in the audit;
5. Execute audits which include planning, fieldwork execution and reporting in apetent and professional manner, including execution of audits of moreplex transactions or operations;
6. Identify and escalate audit issues, fostering a constrictive tone in audit reports;
7. Facilitate issue tracking and validation of closure of issues;
8. Contribute to the further enhancement of the GIA audit process and involvement in audit methodology projects and supporting GIA management; and
9. Maintain expertise and pursue training to keep abreast of new and proposed developments in the Auditing field and consider the impact on thepany through various industry organizations including the IIA.
Qualifications
About You:
10. You have at least 3 years relevant experience in a similar internal audit position, preferably in a financial institution/Big 4 in an international environment.
11. Certified IT auditor or IT security specialist ( CISA, CISM, CISSP, or CIA) would be a significant advantage
12. Experience with auditing general IT controls and familiarity with IT control frameworks such as COBIT and/or ITIL.
13. Strong technical auditing skills ( network audits, UNIX/Wintel operating systems, Oracle / MS SQL databases);
14. Knowledge of performing reviews of both on premise and cloud applications.
15. Familiarity with cloud control frameworks and best practices
16. Knowledge of software development lifecycle and project management methodologies and audits thereof;
17. Knowledge of modern internal audit best practice and methods
18. Affinity withernance, Risk andpliance related issues
19. Capable of understanding the applications of a range of audit techniques
20. Knowledge of the TeamMate+ application and use of CAATs will be considered an advantage
21. Experience in auditing in an international multi-location environment would be a significant advantage
22. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and as part of a team with other auditors
23. Degree qualified; accountancy, audit, financial or regulatory qualification would be an advantage
24. Hands-on experience of automated internal audit applications/tools is an advantage. In addition to automated internal audit applications, proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio is expected.
25. Excellent written and verbal skills in English are a prerequisite
