Overview
Reconciliation Lead - Business Analyst is a seasoned professional role. Applies in‑depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for Reconciliations. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area.
What you’ll do
Collect and Document Business requirements for reconciliation solutions.
Manage Recon SDLC end to end for recon development projects.
Balances bank statements, cashbooks, and general ledgers to ensure financial records are accurate and match up.
Ensure creation of project plan, stakeholder management plan, acceptance plan, and central project issue log.
Identifies and suggests improvements to reconciliation processes to minimize discrepancies and research time.
Ensure change control is executed throughout project.
Track actual project costs, identify variances, and reforecast project costs as needed.
Measure project management performance against standards.
Create the project risk management plan.
Work with procurement team to create, administer, track, and eventually close project contracts.
Acts as Reconciliation & Business SME to senior stakeholders and/or other team members to develop standardized recon solutions.
What we’ll need from you
Previous relevant reconciliation experience.
Proficiency with reconciliation software, experience using TLM would be a plus.
Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources.
Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required.
Coaching and training of new recruits. Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc.
Ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.
