Role Overview
As an Investment Controller, you will play a key role in overseeing and coordinating investment controlling activities for private equity and related structures, with a particular focus on special purpose vehicles (SPVs). This dynamic position offers exposure to complex cross-border investment structures and close collaboration with global stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordination with global teams on SPV and investment controlling activities.
* Oversight and review of work performed by external administrators and service providers.
* Monitoring and analysis of investment-related activities across multiple private equity programs.
* Reconciliation of monthly valuations as prepared by third-party administrators.
* Preparation of periodic financial and investor reports for SPVs and funds.
* Cash flow forecasting, capital call and distribution monitoring, and performance measurement.
* Relationship management across internal teams, external partners, and advisors.
* Active participation in projects, process improvements, and system implementations.
Requirements
* Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional qualification (ACA/ACCA/CPA or equivalent) preferred.
* 3+ years of experience in private equity, investment controlling, fund/SPV accounting
* Strong understanding of private markets structures, including SPVs and related financing.
* Experience coordinating and reviewing work of third-party fund administrators.
* Excellent IT skills, including advanced Excel proficiency.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across multiple stakeholders.
* Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to meet demanding deadlines.
* A proactive mindset with curiosity to understand the impact of complex transactions on private equity programs.
