The Business Process Specialist is the primary point of contact for Cook Medical Divisions and other functions for processes and service enhancing projects. They are the driver of process improvements for nominated market(s), with the goal of enhancing the customer experience and driving operational excellence.
Reports to: Manager / Senior Manager, Customer Support
Responsibilities
• Main point of contact for the Cook Medical Divisions and other functions related to processes, escalations and service enhancing projects.
• Subject matter expert and owner of key business processes at a market level, as well as identified operational quality processes, with a focus on driving continuous improvement and alignment across all markets.
• Work collaboratively with the relevant business stakeholders, vendors and functional groups on new business opportunities, projects and improvement initiatives.
• Lead and manage continuous improvement projects working in collaboration with the Manager, Continuous Improvement EMEA.
• Originate, review and approve change orders to the Quality Management System where required.
• Work closely with the CSD Project Team on nominated project activity.
• Present regular updates on continuous improvement projects and programs of work to EMEA Support Centre Management Team.
• Work collaboratively with the Sales Support Programs Team and Communications, to help resolve, and proactively communicate, any customer impacting issues / escalations related to product event(s) or supply chain issue(s).
• Represent the EMEA Support Centre in meetings or events as required.
• Work closely with the Quality Team to ensure effective audit readiness and compliance to the quality management system.
• Ensure familiarity with CMEU obligations as part of Regulation (EU) 2017/745 (EU
MDR) participating in related projects as relevant.
• Designated legal signatory as required.
• Delegate for Manager, Customer Support Programs EMEA.
• Ensure adherence to pertinent Quality and Regulatory requirements and to departmental policies, practices and procedures.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 3 years industry experience in a similar role working in a complex business operation.
• Previous project management experience demonstrating the ability to identify and implement improvement opportunities preferable.
• Previous experience with Continuous Improvement preferable.
• Knowledge of regulation (EU) 2017/745 (EU MDR) advantageous.
• Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills with a track record of developing strong working relationships globally and locally.
• Solutions focussed with a proactive approach to problem solving.
• Excellent analytical and organisational skills
• Ability to work well within a team environment demonstrating flexibility and adaptability as required to meet team objectives.
• Ability to work cross functionally and co-ordinate the efforts of key stakeholders.
• Willingness and availability to travel on company business.
