Stelfox is partnering with one of the top providers of Customer Management & BPO services in Africa, supporting domestic and global clients across multiple industries in U.S/North America, Australia, UK, Continent of Africa and further afield.
As part of their Galway IT Technology hub expansion, we are looking to recruit a Senior Cloud Infrastructure engineer, focused on Infrastructure-as-a-service when switching physical servers/services within a DC environments over to either AWS/Azure.
Responsibilities:
* Design, deploy, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure (having additional exposure to Azure is an advantage but not essential).
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement cloud solutions that meet business requirements.
* Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of cloud environments.
* Automate cloud deployment and configuration processes.
* Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
* Conduct technical design reviews and code reviews.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* 5+ years of experience working on Cloud infrastructure services
* Strong understanding of cloud architecture and design principles.
* Experience in areas such as AWS IaaS, VPC/Transit, IAM, EC2, S3, Route 53, Cloudfront.
* Bonus experience if working with AWS Aurora or RDS.
* Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
* Knowledge of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
* AWS Solutions Architect certification
