Product Acquisition Specialist
Our innovative retail collective seeks a Product Acquisition Specialist to join their team. In this role, you'll lead the sourcing and acquisition strategy across fashion and home décor.
This position involves developing and executing strategies for acquiring standout products in both categories, identifying fresh supply sources, forging strategic partnerships, and fuelling the expansion of our retail chain.
You will report into the Head of Growth and Business Development and have options for remote work based in Naas.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop a dynamic pipeline of high-potential opportunities by proactively identifying, qualifying, and nurturing leads across diverse channels.
* Support the development and delivery of product strategies.
* Utilise industry insights and trend analysis to identify and secure high-potential product acquisition leads, curating a distinctive selection of vintage fashion and home items that resonate with current consumer preferences.
* Work closely with charity partners in stock allocation, collection, and deliveries.
* Develop and execute multi-channel campaigns to drive engagement and sourcing from online platforms.
* Build strong relationships with retail chains, wholesale businesses, and online platforms to secure end-of-line products, ensuring a dynamic and sustainable product offering.
Requirements:
* Proven experience working within a high-performing team, consistently meeting and exceeding business targets.
* 3+ years of experience in wholesale, business development, or a related commercial management role within the fashion or retail sector.
* Experience in product selection or buying is advantageous.
* Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong networks and professional relationships across multiple stakeholders.
* Commercially minded with excellent planning, organisational, and time management skills.
* Highly self-motivated, energetic, and proactive in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
* Creative thinker with a keen eye for product trends and market potential.
