Assistant Programme Manager (M&E Contracts) Belfast City Council Duncrue Complex, Duncrue Road, Belfast BT3 9 BP £46,731 - £49,764 Job type Permanent, full-time Job Overview Belfast City Council is seeking an experienced Assistant Programme Manager (M&E Contracts) to support the implementation, delivery, and monitoring of an effective M&E services contracted maintenance programme for all council assets, ensuring compliance with applicable legislation and statutory requirements.
Responsibilities Assisting with the design, implementation and delivery of agreed bespoke projects in alignment with other relevant projects within the service, departmental plan and council strategies.
Ensuring effective financial management and high quality customer focused services for the M&E Contracts programme of work.
Monitoring and managing reactive repairs associated with M&E contracted services across all council assets.
Managing, monitoring and regularly reviewing day to day delivery of all M&E contracts.
Qualifications and Experience A third level qualification in a relevant electrical or mechanical engineering discipline, for example, and HND or an HNC in Building Services Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical), or an equivalent qualification and one years relevant experiencein each of the 3 areas set out below at (a) (b) and (c) OR two years' relevant experiencein each of the 3 areas at (a) (b) and (c): (a) Coordinating, managing and motivating multi-disciplinary teams to ensure successful delivery of contracts.
(b) Implementing, managing, delivering and monitoring mechanical or electrical contracts ensuring compliance with contract specifications and service standards.
(c) Managing and producing electrical or mechanical condition surveys.
A full, current driving licence.
It is desirable that a vehicle is also available for official business.
