We are seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to join their construction team in Nenagh, Tipperary.
Responsibilities:
Manage daily site activities to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with the construction programmed
Supervise subcontractors and site operatives, coordinating resources to maintain consistent progress
Enforce site safety standards, including PPE compliance, and intervene where unsafe practices are identified
Ensure all RAMS, permits, and risk controls are reviewed and in place prior to works commencing
Conduct regular safety, quality, and workmanship inspections, resolving issues promptly
Maintain high standards of housekeeping, access, and general site organization
Assist with snagging, finishing, and project close-out to agreed quality and programmed requirements
Monitor progress on site, identify constraints early, and report accurately to the Project Manager
Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications, and company procedures
Engage with the company's Integrated Management System, Lean Construction principles, and digital site tools
Requirements:
Demonstrable experience as a Site Foreman or General Foreman on construction projects (main contractor background desirable)
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage subcontractors and direct labour effectively
Solid understanding of construction drawings, sequencing, and quality standards
Proven commitment to site safety and best practice working methods
Strong communication and organizational skills
Experience with site management software or Lean systems (e.g. Procore, Hammertech, Asta, Last Planner) is advantageous
Full, clean Irish driving license required
