Stock Controller / Inventory Controller (Retail) – Fixed Term Contract – Mayo
Background in retail environment would be a distinct advantage.
Duration: 12 months
Responsibilities :
1. Management of retail warehouse team and procedures
2. Manage supplier relationships, pricing, margin and order timelines to support both retail and ecommerce channels
3. Monitor trading performance by category, taking action to optimise stock flows, sales and markdowns only when necessary
4. Oversee the Stock Administrator and stock accuracy processes
5. Regularly review best sellers, underperformers and seasonal category performance to inform future decisions
6. Ensure product and stock data integrity across all internal systems and sales channels Partner with visual merchandising, retail, e-commerce and marketing team to ensure smooth launches and promotional alignment
7. Support season campaign planning and product story telling through timely range development and stock readiness
8. Liaise with suppliers on when stocks are to be delivered
9. Managing and planning incoming deliveries and warehouse space
10. Managing dispatch and transfers of product deliveries
11. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
12. Maintain clean, safe, and secure warehouse conditions
13. Liaise with warehouse co-ordinator and organise deliveries
Requirements:
14. 2-3 years in retail stock management
15. Management of retail warehouse team
16. Strong system skills: EPOS Meridian System Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word etc)
17. Strong organizational and time-management abilities
18. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
19. Attention to detail and accuracy
20. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
21. Licence/Certification: Forklift Driving Licence, B Driving Licence (preferred)
