Established nearly 100 years ago, our client occupies the number one position within their market. They are an established company with ambitious plans for growth within the Irish market. They offer commercial specification solutions and are renowned for their exceptional products and customer service. They are now looking to add to the team and require a Business Development Manager to cover North Leinster and the Midlands.
THE ROLE
As the Business Development Manager for this ambitious company, you will be covering North Leinster, supplying technical and specification solutions to end-users, specialist contractors, and specifiers. Working with a premium product, you will be working with customers on a project basis to fulfill their specific requirements. Industries you will target include commercial builds and large-scale residential house builds. You will be responsible for the project from the initial sale right through to completion/installation, so an understanding of sales and project management is essential.
THE PERSON
The successful applicant will have demonstrable experience in a technical project-based sales role, preferably gained from working with a manufacturer. Specification Sales experience is a must-have!!! Specific market knowledge is advantageous but not essential. If you have experience with cladding, facades, insulation, roofing, flooring, etc, then you will be a great fit for the role. Crucially, the successful applicant will be confident, outgoing, and keen to learn a technical product.
