I am recruiting for a Consultant Psychiatrist and Clinical Director with a specialism in Forensic Psychiatry.
Job Title: Consultant Psychiatrist – Clinical Director
Location: Dublin – Remote
About the role:
1. Work closely with the Clinical Directors of ID and MH Services and all Consultant Psychiatrist colleagues.
2. Oversee and implement measures to meet regulatory standards and compliance with the Mental Health Commission.
3. Provide cover for Clinical Directors & Consultant colleagues' periods of leave as necessary.
4. Taking clinical responsibility for patients who are residing in community based and ID residences and centres.
5. Offering a psychiatric perspective to the multidisciplinary team in relation to the assessment, formulation, and treatment of individuals with complex needs and forensic risks across both ID and MH services.
6. Contributing to clinical governance for the services provided at both Approved Centres when covering annual leave and contribute to the development of service strategy as required.
Requirements:
7. Valid IMC specialist registration in psychiatry or be eligible for registration.
8. Right to work in Ireland. Work permits may be available for suitably qualified doctors.
What's on offer:
9. Outstanding salary of €235,000 to €265,000 depending on experience.
