The successful candidate will likely have the following experience:
Practice-trained with experience in management accounts and statutory financial statements
Strong client relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience reviewing work and mentoring junior team members
Commercially minded with an interest in managing client portfolios and assignment profitability
Strong technical understanding of Irish financial reporting and compliance requirements
Role and Reporting Lines
Reporting into the Accounting & Compliance leadership team, this role will play a key position in supporting the continued growth of the division while managing a varied portfolio of clients.
Client Portfolio Management – Manage a portfolio of clients across management accounts and statutory financial statement assignments
Client Advisory – Build strong client relationships and advise clients on accounting and compliance matters
Financial Reporting – Oversee the preparation and review of management accounts and year-end financial statements
Team Leadership – Mentor and review the work of junior team members as the team continues to grow
Commercial Exposure – Manage assignment budgets, billing and profitability across client engagements
Stakeholder Management – Work closely with senior leadership and clients to ensure high quality delivery across assignments
Process Improvement – Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies and enhance client service delivery
Business Development – Support the growth of existing client relationships and identify opportunities for additional services
