Senior Pharmacy Technician
Purpose of the Role:
The purpose of this post is to provide a high-level pharmaceutical technician service for the pharmacy department and to wards and clinical areas within CHI.
Essential Criteria:
Pharmaceutical Technicians Diploma or equivalent Pharmacy Technician Qualification awarded by an accredited body as follows:
1. Pharmaceutical Technicians Diploma awarded by the University of Dublin, Trinity College
2. Pharmacy Technician qualification at QQI level 6 awarded by Dublin Institute of Technology, Athlone Institute of Technology or Carlow Institute of Technology
3. Pharmacy Services Certificate NVQ level 3 offered by Irish Pharmacy Union
4. Be currently employed as a pharmacy technician in the publicly funded Irish health system
5. A relevant qualification at least equivalent to the above
and
* Minimum of three years of hospital experience
