Summary
This is a client-facing role in our Market Access team.
The core objective of the team is ensuring investors can easily access clients' funds and fund information, thus supporting growth in those products.
It requires building strong relationships with colleagues, clients, investors and service providers across functional and geographic boundaries as well understanding associated distribution channels.
The Associate will be working within a dynamic team making a meaningful difference to our clients.
The role provides exposure to many areas, including investor relations, marketing, risk and relationship management and will ensure you develop an understanding of multiple distribution channels.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Providing insights into the practical aspects of what needs to be considered when marketing in a particular jurisdiction, e.g.:
Fund country registration marketing permissions
Distribution & wrap platforms
Jurisdictional, investor-requested, reporting
Data dissemination via key investor databases
Owning a number of relationships with distribution and wrap platforms
Developing relationships with new platforms as required
Managing key European and UK distribution platform access for clients
Owning a number of client relationships and working with them to meet distribution deliverables
Coordinating with relevant parties to implement client-driven requests to:
Arrange marketing passports, registrations and private placements of funds globally
Make funds accessible over distribution platforms
Ensure investors' preferred data providers are in receipt of fund information
Arrange tax reporting
Acting in an Investor Relations capacity for the MontLake UCITS Platform ICAV suite of products
Responding to investor queries
Building and updating fund marketing material
Coordinating distribution agreement implementation
Managing investor due diligence questionnaire responses
Supporting investor rebate implementation through
Arranging agreement completion
Calculating rebates in line with agreed formulae
Liaising with internal teams to ensure investor & client requirements for Market Access are met
Logging all communication and activity within Salesforce
Maintaining robust process documents
Requirements
Education:
Bachelors' degree level
Experience
2 - 4 years' experience in working with international clients and with exposure to alternative UCITS and AIFs, ideally within an Investor Relations or Client Relations team for an asset manager or fund service provider.
A working knowledge of another European language would be a plus.
You Should Be Able To Demonstrate
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
Strong organisational skills

High levels of personal integrity and client service
Self-motivation and confidence
Solid computer skills particularly in Salesforce, or similar CRM system, Excel and PowerPoint
