Job Description:
Position Summary
This role is responsible for the full life cycle implementation (technical and functional) and support of the Finance & Controlling modules in ECC 6.0 systems and the upcoming transition to SAP S/4HANA.
Principal Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver requirements and project scope documents, business process design, and configuration.
* Liaise with business owners to ensure effective communication and translation of business needs into technical requirements.
* Apply technical knowledge to all phases of systems analysis, considering the business implications.
* Conduct functional and technical reviews of IT design documentation with development and design teams.
* Ensure system changes are released according to validation procedures.
* Hands-on configuration of core SAP Modules: Product Costing, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Bank Reconciliations, Accounts Receivable, Profitability Analysis, Cost Center Accounting, Fixed Assets.
* Develop and support business processes related to FICO modules.
* Manage global templates for applications to ensure system stability and supportability.
* Support end users to ensure proper system usage and understanding.
Education / Experience Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, IT, or related field.
* 6+ years’ experience configuring in Finance & Controlling in ECC6 with at least 2 full lifecycle implementations.
* Experience in SAP product costing.
* Experience working in support organizations and delivering specifications for enhancements and custom developments.
* Knowledge of European or US GAAP tax and legal reporting.
* SAP S/4HANA experience is a plus.
* SAP certification is a plus.
Specialized Skills / Other Requirements
* In-depth knowledge of FICO modules: Product Costing, GL, AP, AR, Assets, Banking, COPA.
* Strong Logistics & SD integration knowledge.
* Design, prototype, and configure SAP to meet customer requirements.
* Experience supporting non-SAP finance application integrations.
* Cross-functional SAP knowledge in MM / SD is advantageous.
* Excellent analytical skills.
* Knowledge of IDOC setup and AP inter-company invoice processing.
* Good organizational skills with cultural awareness and sensitivity.
* Good judgment and problem-solving skills, understanding the impact of decisions on Teleflex Medical and customers.
