This is a high-impact role that requires strategic leadership to drive growth and expansion across various sectors. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of building and scaling commercial operations and teams, with a deep understanding of student recruitment channels, agency partnerships, and B2B sales strategies.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, as well as strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management. A strategic, entrepreneurial mindset with strong operational leadership capabilities is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and Implement Long-term Commercial Strategies: To support sustainable growth, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing long-term commercial strategies, including revenue targets, forecasting, sales pipelines, and performance metrics.
2. Establish and Nurture Global Partnerships: This involves establishing and nurturing a global network of education agents, partner institutions, and strategic alliances to drive student recruitment and business growth.
3. Manage High-performing Teams: The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruiting, developing, and leading a high-performing commercial team, with a focus on effective sales processes, CRM systems, and performance KPIs.
4. Negotiate and Manage Commercial Agreements: This includes negotiating and managing key commercial agreements with partners and clients, as well as building and maintaining trusted relationships with B2B partners, sponsors, and referral networks.
Requirements
* Senior Experience: 7+ years of senior experience in international student recruitment, business development, or related fields within higher education or language training sectors.
* Proven Track Record: A proven track record of building and scaling commercial operations and teams.
* Deep Understanding: Deep understanding of student recruitment channels, agency partnerships, and B2B sales strategies.
* Strong Financial Acumen: Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
* Excellent Stakeholder Management: Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
