Head of Compliance (PCF Roles) – Ireland
A leading international financial services firm is seeking a
Head of Compliance
to oversee regulatory frameworks across several Irish entities and act as the senior point of contact for regulatory engagement.
As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will influence decision-making at board level and drive a strong compliance culture across the jurisdiction.
This role carries
PCF12 / PCF52 responsibilities
, including AML/CFT oversight under the Fitness & Probity regime.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop the local compliance function.
Oversee compliance plans, risk assessments, monitoring and policy frameworks.
Advise senior stakeholders on AML/KYC, data protection, outsourcing and governance.
Prepare board reports and manage regulatory submissions.
Build strong relationships with the Central Bank and other external stakeholders.
Drive jurisdiction-wide regulatory strategy and ensure consistent compliance practices.
Support global/regional compliance initiatives.
About You
7+ years in compliance or regulatory roles within financial services.
Strong knowledge of Irish regulation, CBI requirements and EU directives.
Experience with alternative investment structures advantageous.
Excellent communication skills, with confidence interacting at board/regulator level.
Strategic, detail-focused, and comfortable leading a team.
