Senior Engineer
to join our dynamic team in Ballina, Co. Mayo located in the northwest of Ireland.
About the Role
As a Senior Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting Operations, Contract Manufacturing, Global Engineering, New Product Development (NPD), and R&D.
You'll lead cross-functional projects, drive process innovation, and provide expert technical guidance in injection molding and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities
Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver technical solutions and meet business goals.
Manage the procurement and qualification of new molds (IQ/OQ/PQ).
Develop and optimize injection molding processes using DOE and scientific molding principles.
Provide technical support for new product development and manufacturing.
Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to introduce new technologies and equipment.
Apply business acumen to evaluate project feasibility and performance.
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering (or equivalent).
5–8 years of relevant engineering experience, with 3–5 years in project management and mold qualification.
Strong knowledge of injection molding systems, materials, and tooling.
Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred) and MS Office.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
RJG Master Molder I & II Certification
Experience in medical device manufacturing
Familiarity with FDA/ISO regulations
Hands-on experience in mold making and plastic part design
