Job Description: Senior Compliance Advisor (Dublin)
How does this role contribute to our collective success?
This role presents an exciting opportunity for a Compliance Analyst to join the Compliance team in our Dublin office, working closely with Compliance colleagues in both Dublin and London. This is a new role and a fantastic chance to join a highly experienced and collaborative team in a global organisation.
Our Compliance team aims to provide effective and pragmatic compliance advisory, support, oversight and monitoring. Reporting to the Compliance PCF-12/52, the role holder will assist the Compliance function in all aspects of the Compliance universe.
What will you do in this role?

* Provide expert guidance to the business on compliance and regulatory matters, including governance, fitness and probity, outsourcing, operational resilience, licensing, conduct risk etc. to employees, with the support of Compliance Operations, in a manner that is appropriate to their role and seniority.
* Oversee and maintain a robust framework for implementing applicable legal and regulatory developments to support the business to comply with regulatory requirements initially and on an ongoing basis.
* Assist with the preparation of compliance papers for various Committees including the Executive Committees and Boards.
* Support the development and maintenance of relationships with the various regulators, as well as assisting with regulatory communications, applications and inspections, ensuring that any follow up actions are addressed.
* Represent the Compliance function in required Project Working Groups, including new business initiatives and the implementation of any upcoming regulatory developments, contributing to ensure the project progresses within agreed timeframes.
* Support the development, management, and oversight of Compliance policies, as well as related policies including Conflicts of Interest and Fitness & Probity.
* Branch compliance support for Zurich, UK and Belgium branches.
* Managing and co-ordinating regulatory returns.
* Contribute to the delivery of the annual Compliance Plan, including compliance monitoring and assurance activities.
* Supporting the business with regulatory fitness and probity applications and ensuring adherence to the CBI's Individual Accountability Framework.
* Supporting the wider Compliance team with the management of sanctions queries during peak times.
* Proactively liaise with the second and third line to promote an integrated assurance model, specifically on regulatory developments.
* Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
* Attend and contribute to industry committees and forums, as required, to ensure the Company keeps abreast of regulatory movements.

About You:

What you need to have:
* 5- 7 years Compliance experience, preferably in (re)insurance.
* Educated to degree level ideally in Law, Business or a related discipline.
* Holds, or is currently working towards, a Professional Diploma in Compliance or an equivalent professional qualification.
* Knowledge of EU, CBI, PRA/FCA regulatory requirements.
* Professional approach with a strong desire to learn.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and adapt to the needs of the business.
* Strong verbal as well as written communication skills with good attention to detail and strong organisational and time management skills.
* Ability to work independently and as a part of a team, managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
* Ability to make sound decisions in the face of ambiguity and shifting priorities, while effectively managing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint, Excel and SharePoint, and familiarity with AI solutions is desirable.
