An opportunity has arisen for a "Finance Administrator" with enthusiasm and energy to join the finance team. Whilst there are specific tasks and activities which will be required of the successful candidate, this is a dynamic role which will change as the company changes and so requires an individual willing to adapt to new and evolving circumstances.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Helping maintain the accounts payable and accounts receivable ledgers by processing invoices, posting payments, and reconciling customer and supplier accounts.
* Liaising with suppliers/customers in relation to queries and following these through to completion.
* Liaising with the warehouse on purchase order queries and credits processed.
* Following up on general account and administration queries.
* Assist with supplier payment runs.
* Assist with account analysis and monthly reporting.
* Assist with supplier statement reconciliations.
* Supporting the Financial Controller & Accounts Team with daily tasks.
* Ensure meticulous organisation of paperwork and filing.
Key Requirements:
* A positive and enthusiastic attitude, with a willingness to take on new tasks as they crop up.
* Previous experience within a busy finance department.
* Good IT / Microsoft Office skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail with strong numerical ability.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Ability to Multi-Task and prioritise workload with excellent attention to detail.
* A team player with a positive attitude who will work closely with all departments in the company and is willing to learn.
About the job:
Available immediately.
30 hours per week.
Salary can reach €24,000 - €28,000 dependent on experience.
Permanent should you pass probation.
