Job briefWe are looking for an Evening Hall Porter/Receptionist to manage our front desk on a daily/evening basis and to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks.What does a Receptionist do?As a Evening Hall Porter/Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our organisation. Our Receptionist's duties include offering administrative support across the organization. You will welcome guests and greet people who visit the premises. You will also coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls.To be successful as an Evening Hall Porter/Receptionist, you should have a pleasant personality, as this is also a customer service role. You should also be able to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner, while streamlining office operations. Multitasking is essential for this position. This role mainly evening work, so flexibility is essential.Ultimately, a Evening Hall Porter's/Receptionist's duties and responsibilities are to ensure the front desk welcomes guests positively, and executes all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards.ResponsibilitiesGreet and welcome guests as soon as they arriveDirect visitors to the appropriate person, office or meeting roomAnswer, screen and forward incoming phone callsEnsure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and materialProvide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/emailReceive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveriesMaintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception deskProcess sales orders and keep inventory of stockUpdate calendars and schedule meetingsPerform other clerical receptionist duties as requiredRequirementsProven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar roleFlexibility in working hours as role includes mornings/evenings & weekends.Proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteHands-on experience with office equipmentProfessional attitude and appearanceSolid written and verbal communication skillsAbility to be resourceful and proactive when issues ariseExcellent organizational skillsMultitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasksCustomer service attitudeJob Type: Full-timePay: €28,000.00 per yearWork Location: In person
