About Us:
We are a well-established crèche group dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for young children. Our mission is to support the development of children while offering peace of mind to parents. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Crèche Manager to lead our team and ensure the highest standards of care and education.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership and Management:
– Oversee the daily operations of the crèche, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
– Lead, mentor, and support a team of childcare practitioners, fostering a collaborative and positive working environment.
– Develop and implement staff training programs to enhance professional development.
2. Curriculum Development:
– Design and implement a curriculum that promotes the holistic development of children aged 0-6 years.
– Ensure activities are age-appropriate, engaging, and aligned with national guidelines.
3. Health and Safety:
– Maintain a safe and secure environment for children, staff, and visitors.
– Conduct regular health and safety audits and risk assessments, addressing any issues promptly.
4. Parent and Community Engagement:
– Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, providing regular updates on their child's progress and development.
– Organize events and workshops to engage parents and the community in the crèche's activities.
5. Administrative Duties:
– Manage resources and staffing to ensure efficient operation of the crèche.
– Maintain accurate records, including children's attendance, staff qualifications.
6. Compliance and Regulations:
– Ensure the crèche meets all legal and regulatory requirements, including those set by TUSLA the Early Years Inspectorate.
– Prepare for and participate in inspections and assessments.
Qualifications:
– Relevant qualification in early childhood education (e.g., QQI Level 5 or higher).
– Minimum of 3 years of experience in a childcare setting.
– Strong knowledge of child development and early education practices.
– Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external agencies.
– Proficiency in administrative tasks and familiarity with relevant regulations.
