SENIOR FINANCIAL REPORTING ASSOCIATE - FUNDS (CONTRACT)
Location: Dublin 4
Contract: initially approx. 5 months with view to extension

ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate to join our client's Financial Reporting team in Dublin 2.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting investment funds and ensuring compliance with global accounting and regulatory standards.
You will play a key role in preparing and reviewing financial statements, liaising with stakeholders, and contributing to process improvements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Prepare and review financial statements for investment funds on behalf of assigned clients.
* Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., US GAAP, IFRS) and regulatory requirements.
* Monitor changes in accounting and disclosure standards; implement necessary process updates.
* Plan, organize, and oversee the production of financial statements for funds.
* Maintain and provide regular management information on team deliverables.
* Review and sign off on draft reports, account files, and associated calculations.
* Liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.
* Contribute to the ongoing development of financial reporting structures, processes, and controls.
* Represent the Financial Reporting department on ad-hoc projects and initiatives.
* Present fund reports to the Board of Directors, ensuring transparency and governance
KEY REQUIREMENTS
* Relevant experience, ideally within a fund administrator or Big 4 firm with exposure to investment funds.
* Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulations (IFRS, US GAAP) and investment fund structures (Alternative funds, Private Equity, Hedge funds).
* Experience with financial reporting platforms such as Confluence Unity and/or DFIN Arc - Reporting is an advantage.
* Highly organized, deadline-driven, and able to work under pressure.
* Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA) is advantageous.
