Construction Buyer Experienced Construction Buyer required to join a leading builder developer in Wexford. The successful candidate will have at least 4+ years of experience in a similar purchasing role within the construction industry, ideally with a main contractor or developer. Candidates coming from a builders' merchants or supplier background with relevant experience will also be considered. Key Responsibilities: Liaise with suppliers and site teams to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries. Track and reconcile purchase orders, proof of delivery documents, and invoices. Plan and coordinate inbound deliveries in line with project schedules. Maintain an organised system for supplier quotations, pricing, and order histories. Support Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, and site teams with procurement needs. Requirements: Minimum 4 years experience in a purchasing role within construction. Strong knowledge of construction materials, plant, and suppliers. Excellent organisational and negotiation skills. Proficient in procurement software (EVOLM experience is an advantage). Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
