Recruitment New Business Development Executive
Start-ups & SME

Location: Hybrid (Dublin)
Contract: Permanent

eir evo talent is growing, and we are seeking a Business Development Executive with a strong track record in sales and client engagement, ideally within recruitment, talent acquisition, or related services. This role offers an scalable opportunity for a driven professional to help shape our presence in the start-up and SME market across Ireland.

About the Role
You will be responsible for converting new business opportunities and building long-term relationships with start-ups and SMEs, both new and from existing partnerships through the eir evo business network. Your focus will be on identifying recruitment needs, creating tailored solutions, and partnering with our talent team to deliver exceptional results.
Key responsibilities include:

1. Opportunity Generation: Identify and engage start-ups and SMEs through outbound and inbound channels.
2. Relationship Building: Develop strong connections with decision-makers and HR teams to position eir evo talent as a trusted IT & Engineering recruitment partner.
3. Market Development: Segment and target the start-up and SME market strategically to maximise growth opportunities.
4. Consultative Selling: Understand client challenges and design solutions that unlock business potential through talent acquisition.
5. Influence Mapping: Identify key stakeholders and create strategies to engage them effectively.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with internal recruiters and stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery and transparency.
7. CRM & Reporting: Maintain accurate records in ATS and internal systems for pipeline management and forecasting.


What We're Looking For

8. Proven experience in business development or sales, ideally within recruitment or talent solutions (2–5 years).
9. Strong understanding of the Irish start-up and SME ecosystem.
10. Excellent communication and influencing skills across all seniority levels.
11. Target-driven, self-motivated, and commercially astute.
12. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
13. Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to market segmentation and client engagement.
14. Fluency in English is essential.
