Job Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned project professional to lead and direct projects of moderate complexity. This individual will oversee all aspects of the project lifecycle, from initiation to completion, ensuring seamless collaboration with stakeholders and effective team management.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously through our project office.
* Build and motivate high-performing project teams, assigning tasks and resources as needed to achieve timely project delivery.
* Capture customer requirements, constraints, and assumptions with stakeholders to define project deliverables.
* Maintain accurate project budgets throughout the project lifecycle.
* Foster stakeholder alignment by establishing clear expectations in line with the project plan.
* IDentify, assess, monitor, and mitigate project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
* Implement changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using verification techniques to maintain an up-to-date project plan.
* Enhance team performance by promoting cohesion, influencing, and motivating to facilitate cooperation, ensure project efficiency, and boost morale.
* Monitor project performance using suitable tools and techniques to track progress, identify variances, perform corrective actions, and communicate to stakeholders.
* Analyse and rectify complex process and/or system issues using independent judgment.
* Collaborate with Materials Science, Design, and Quality Assurance departments to provide a quality product on time.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field or equivalent experience.
2. Demonstrated expertise in project management through successful delivery of business-critical projects exceeding €0.5M, completed on time and within budget.
3. Minimum 5 years proven experience in project management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
4. Able to drive technical advancements.
5. Possess strong analytical skills to create and explain detailed proposals, schedules, objectives, and other documentation accurately.
6. Confidently present project updates to senior leadership teams.
7. Utilise software to maintain project records, such as project management systems, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, SharePoint, or Visio.
8. PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
9. Excellent interpersonal communication, influencing, collaborative teamwork, and negotiation skills with ability to integrate a team.
10. Able to establish trusting relationships with mid-level management.
11. Demonstrated ability to present to executives.
12. Capable of working as part of a multi-disciplined team in an aggressive, dynamic, flexible, and results-driven environment.
13. Able to work independently without supervision.
14. Expertise in managing project challenges with discipline and maintaining control of stressful situations.
15. Adept at pursuing goals to completion despite demanding timelines.
16. Decisive and effective leader who engages stakeholders in constructive conversation regarding feedback.
