We are exclusively partnering with a Dublin headquartered venture capital firm backing some of the most ambitious technology companies scaling internationally to hire a Finance Manager.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
This is a rare opportunity to step into a high-impact finance role with real ownership at the core of the business. You will be the go-to person for fund finance, owning accounting across multiple vehicles and working directly with senior leadership. You’ll have real influence over how finance operates, gain exposure to investment activity, and the chance to shape processes as the business continues to scale.
Reporting to an exceptional COO, you’ll take ownership of accounting across a range of vehicles, including venture funds and co-investment structures.
Key responsibilities will include:
Leading financial reporting, including quarterly accounts and annual financial statements
Delivering clear and accurate investor reporting, managing capital and distributions
Acting as the primary contact for external auditors and leading the year-end audit process
Owning NAV calculations, capital accounts, and waterfall models
Building and maintaining fund cashflow models to support investment and liquidity planning
Maintaining investment and portfolio data with precision and clarity
Supporting regulatory reporting and compliance requirements
Partnering with legal and leadership on fund structuring and transaction execution
Driving improvements in systems, processes, and data management
ABOUT THE PERSON:
Qualified ACA, ACCA or equivalent with 4-6 years in accounting for VC, PE or funds
A strong grasp of fund structures and capital accounts
The ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail
Strong communication skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders
The role will suit someone who is detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a high-trust environment where ownership is expected.
Hybrid working policy of 2-3 days p/w onsite in Dublin City Centre. Strong compensation package on offer.
