Office Assistant (Part-Time) - Cork
Location: Mahon
Part-Time 2-3 days per week (increases to 4-5 days as needed)
This role is an exciting opportunity to become the first on-site Office Assistant for the Cork location.
You will be responsible for shaping how the office operates day-to-day, supporting
a busy, sales-driven environment, and making sure the workspace is a place where people
enjoy working and collaborating.
Working closely with global Workplace teams, you will help build office culture, streamline
processes, and ensure the Cork hub runs efficiently.
The position offers part-time hours (2-3 days per week), with the flexibility to increase your presence to 4-5 days as needed during special events or large off-site gatherings.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure all daily office activities run smoothly and efficiently.
* Coordinate maintenance, cleaning, security, and general facilities tasks.
* Create initiatives that support a positive, inclusive, and engaging environment.
* Organise in-office perks such as breakfasts, themed days, and monthly activities.
* Help build a culture that aligns with company values and fosters collaboration.
* Plan and deliver internal gatherings, workshops, celebrations, and team-building
sessions.
* Arrange logistical support for meetings, visiting teams, and onsite/offsite events.
* Monitor compliance with relevant health and safety requirements.
* Keep emergency procedures and safety guidelines updated and communicated.
* Oversee office spending, including supplies, events, and facility expenses.
* Identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency while maintaining quality.
* Serve as a go-to contact for workplace questions and event-related queries.
* Share updates, policies, and operational information with the Cork team in a clear
and timely way.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
* At least 3 years' experience in an office support, administrative, or coordinator-level
role.
* Strong people skills and the ability to build positive relationships across teams.
* Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable working with minimal supervision.
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple
tasks.
* Enjoys working in a fast-moving, evolving environment.
