The EHS Technician will have strong
technical knowledge and excellent communication skills to help drive safety culture and support day-to-day EHS operations on site.
Job Purpose
The EHS Technician will update and implement EHS documentation, assess and prevent workplace risks, deliver training, conduct audits, manage contractor safety, support incident investigations and lead continuous improvement initiatives. This person will oversee hygiene-related activities, organise exposure monitoring campaigns, and carry out routine inspections and measurements.
The EHS Technician will have the autonomy to stop or restart processes when safety or environmental protection is at risk. Success in this role means improving site safety performance and reducing exposure risks.
Professional Requirements
* Strong EHS technical knowledge (EHS degree or equivalent experience)
* Hands-on, adaptable, and engaged in the field
* Excellent communicator with strong analytical and organisational skills
* Motivating, dynamic, and able to work effectively with teams across the site
