Flexsource are currently recruiting a Food and Beverage Operations Manager for a busy hotel chain in Cork.
The Food & Beverage Operations Manager will oversee the short-term and long-term goals of all food and beverage outlets. They will direct and manage all food and beverage activities across the F&B outlets to maximize revenue, profitability, and quality by developing marketing strategies, up-selling initiatives, controlling costs, and providing quality service and products to guests.
Responsibilities:
* Assist with developing, implementing, and evaluating a general business plan to ensure guest satisfaction, sales maximization, and profitability.
* Conduct weekly inspections of the food and beverage regions to maintain the property's condition and recommend preventive maintenance as needed.
* Assist in planning and coordinating in-house activities and package plans with the Head Chef, Director of Sales & Marketing, and Food and Beverage Operations Manager.
* Select and develop strategies to improve guest service, food production techniques, and efficiency.
* Assist in preparing the food and beverage business plan.
* Monitor and ensure high levels of guest satisfaction by providing quality guest services and products within corporate standards.
* Screen, interview, and select potential supervisors and team members for the department.
* Establish and maintain effective internal communications, including daily/monthly meetings with supervisors and team members, to ensure optimum teamwork and productivity.
Requirements:
* 1-2 Years Experience within the Food and Beverage Sector
* 1-2 years Hotel Management Experience
* Fully Flexible as role is 5 over 7 day a week
