Brenlo Health Care is a community based service dedicated to providing compassionate, personalised care and support for adults with a range of complex support needs across Louth, Dublin ,Meath and Nationwide. We are currently seeking highly motivated Direct Support workers/Health Care Assistants in the Dublin area who work well in a team in delivering person centered care to vulnerable adults.
To be considered for the position you will have
* Previous experience working with adults with complex care needs
* QQI level 5 Major award/Social Care qualification or equivalent
* Completed or be willing to complete a Patient Manual Handling course
* Completed or be willing to complete a Child Protection course
* Eligibility to work in Ireland
* A strong sense of empathy, flexibility and a team-oriented work ethic
* A Full Irish Manual Drivers Licence is essential
What Will Your Responsibilities Be?
* The delivery of client care needs and the, implementation and evaluation of Support Plans
* Ensure that practices within the service comply with Brenlo Healthcare's policies and procedures, to maintain the highest standards
* Liaise with Multi-Disciplinary Teams ('MDTs') when required
* Provide support to colleagues within the team setting
* Act as a mentor for new staff and foster a positive learning environment
* Participate in the development and review of risk assessments and report concerns

Pay: €14.00-€15.50 per hour
