Job Description
I am currently working with an excellent West Cork based client, an independent financial services practice, and they are seeking recent graduates who want to pursue a career in Accountancy. These candidates, Trainee Accountants, must be situated in West Cork where they can commute to the office daily and must have graduated recently from a Business, Accounting or similar degree.
Role of this position
1. Preparation of financial statements for clients.
2. Preparation of financial highlights disclosures for financial statements.
3. Preparation of management accounts on a periodic basis.
4. Liaising with external parties in relation to financial statements, including investment managers, administrators, auditors, and other service providers.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. Related Honours degree.
2. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
3. Proficient in Office 365.
4. Academic knowledge of IFRS and GAAP accounting principles.
5. Industry experience in Accounting would be a distinct advantage.
6. Must be located in or near West Cork.
