Job Description
The primary objective of this role is to manage the entire procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services. This involves developing and implementing strategic procurement plans, building strong relationships with suppliers, and negotiating optimal terms.
Key Responsibilities:
* Procurement Management: Oversee the full procurement-to-pay cycle, from sourcing to invoice resolution.
* Sourcing and Negotiation: Source suppliers and conduct negotiations to secure optimal terms.
* Equipment and Materials Purchase: Purchase and hire equipment, materials, and services for assigned projects.
* Project Coordination: Work closely with project and planning teams to develop and maintain procurement schedules.
* Supplier Liaison: Liaise with suppliers and accounts payable to resolve invoice queries.
Requirements:
* Excellent understanding of construction tools and plant equipment.
* Strong leadership skills, including mentoring junior procurement personnel.
* Ability to analyze bid documents and process purchase orders.
* Good communication and negotiation skills.
Benefits:
