Sales Development Representative (SDR) Location: Belfast (Hybrid) Salary: 30k to 32k plus commission Reports To: Head of Business Development Our client is an award-winning digital learning company specialising in the design and delivery of e-learning content, learning management platforms and learning consultancy across various sectors. They are looking to appoint a Sales Development Representative to join their growing team. The role presents a great opportunity for an experienced Sales Development Representative seeking the next step in their career and opportunities for personal and professional growth. Key Responsibilities: Implementing sector based prospecting plans with guidance from the Sales team, identifying and refining ideal customer profiles to ensure all prospecting activities are aligned to business goals. Executing prospecting plans involving multiple contact methods including phone, email and social connections. Tracking activities, engagement and outcomes on the company CRM (Salesforce) Positioning the extensive range of custom content, learning platform solutions and learning consultancy services to meet specific client needs and position the business as a long-term multi-project partner for potential clients. Evaluating incoming leads and making timely contact in qualifying calls against our qualification matrix assessing factors like interest levels, budget and timelines. Reviewing progress in weekly lead review meetings with the Head of Business Development providing reports and analysis on leads status and buyer intelligence. Reviewing and analysing your approach to discovery calls through self-reflection activities with input from Head of Business Development Essential experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the IT or Software industries (eLearning industry experience would be an advantage). Demonstrable experience of lead qualification and relationship building with prospects through outbound activities with a track record of success. Excellent verbal communication skills and professional phone manner. A team player, capable of working with guidance and independently. Desirable experience: A bachelors degree or higher in a business-related discipline. Experience of selling IT solutions into one or more of the government, corporate and health sectors.
