Our 31 guest rooms retain many original architectural features, and our gardens and grounds are central to the character that makes us special.The RoleWe are seeking a reliable and hands-on individual to maintain our property's internal and external areas to the highest standard. This varied role combines garden upkeep with general property maintenance, ensuring our historic building and grounds always look their best for guests.Key ResponsibilitiesSeasonal garden maintenance including planting, weeding, watering and general upkeepMaintain external areas: leaf clearing, sweeping, power washing and gutter cleaningCare for plants, flowers and outdoor furniture throughout the propertyCarry out minor internal maintenance and repairs as requiredIdentify and escalate issues requiring specialist contractors or suppliersLiaise regularly with the management team to address facilities needsWhat We're Looking ForPrevious experience in gardening, property maintenance or groundskeepingPractical, can-do attitude with attention to detailExcellent English – essential for liaising with guests and teamValid work permit for IrelandAny trade qualifications (e.g. plumbing, carpentry, electrics) are a distinct advantageWhy Join The Schoolhouse?Be part of a welcoming, family-focused team at one of Dublin's most characterful boutique hotels.
