Certa Lubricants is responsible for the Castrol brand across all sectors on the Island of Ireland. We are the Official Country Partner for Castrol’s two divisions – Automotive & Industrial, Marine & Energy. Based at our head office in Portlaoise, our warehouses and customer service team are located in Portarlington.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Certa Lubricants team on a permanent basis as a Sales Manager to Lead and Manage a sales team for Castrol Lubricants. Castrol is a Global Leading Lubricant Brand. It’s more than just oil; it’s liquid engineering. Castrol provides all the oils, fluids and lubricants the world needs, for every driver, every rider and every industry.
This is an incredibly exciting opportunity as you will be entrusted with managing the sales of this Global Leading Brand in specific sectors on the Island of Ireland. Our mission is to reflect the values and aspirations of Castrol and work closely with the Castrol organisation to competently and confidently deliver their aspirations and plans for Ireland. As a custodian of this incredible Global Brand with a rich legacy in Ireland, the role is critical to achieving significant growth in times of exciting change.
Responsibilities
* Accountable for continuously growing Castrol’s Sales and market share on the Island of Ireland across specific sectors in the Automotive division.
* Lead, Manage and Inspire a great Team of Sales Professionals.
* Attract, Retain, Coach, Mentor and instill passion in a high performing Sales Team.
* Directly Manage a Group of Strategic Key Account Customers.
* Working closely with Certa and Castrol’s Marketing Team on strategic and tactical plans.
* Creating and implementing rolling 3-year and Annual Sales and Marketing Plans.
* Collaborating closely with counterparts in affiliated organisation (Certas UK).
* Monitoring and delivering KPIs as proposed and agreed.
* Ensuring full compliance with all company policies and procedures including HR, IT, Compliance and HSE policies.
Qualifications / Experience
* Bachelor’s Degree (preferably Business, Marketing, or related studies) or equivalent.
* 5 years’ sales experience, preferably with lubricants or motor industry experience across various sectors.
* Experience of developing and delivering Sales Plans to exceed target.
* Experience of leading, motivating and developing a team to perform.
* Passion for the Motor Industry is a must!
