As a Senior Sales Development Professional, you will be responsible for driving growth and managing sales within the roofing and rainwater industries. This key role involves reporting directly to the Group Sales Director.
Key priorities include expanding existing customer relationships and sourcing new customers within the target region.
* Servicing existing accounts by planning daily work schedules to visit sales outlets and other trade factors.
* Processing orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
* Maintaining market awareness by gathering information on competitors' pricing, products, and delivery schedules.
* Resolving customer queries by investigating problems and developing solutions.
* Staying up-to-date with industry developments by attending workshops and reviewing publications.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Three to five years of experience in the roofing or rainwater installation industry preferred.
* A people-orientated extrovert with proactive characteristics.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to train and explain technical concepts.
