Job Title: Electrical Project Coordinator
Overview:
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Electrical Project Coordinator to support our project delivery team. The role involves managing technical documentation, assisting with costings and procurement, and ensuring smooth project administration from tender through to completion. You will also provide day-to-day support to our electricians, site supervisors, and project managers to help projects run efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and submit technical submittals and supplier documentation in line with project specifications.
• Assist with pricing, costing, and quotations for projects and variations.
• Draft and maintain safety statements and RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements).
• Carry out take-offs from drawings and specifications for ordering and pricing.
• Raise and manage purchase orders, liaising with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Monitor and control stock levels to ensure project requirements are met.
• Provide administrative and technical support to electricians, supervisors, and project managers.
• Support project managers and site teams with technical and commercial documentation.
• Contribute to ongoing cost control and reporting for projects.
Skills & Experience:
• Background in electrical contracting, M&E, or construction administration.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and commercial documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with estimating or stock management software is an advantage.
• Good communication skills to liaise with suppliers, engineers, site teams, and clients.
