This role supports the delivery of complex process engineering systems across a variety of industries including biopharma, food, beverage, and dairy.

The Role As a CAD Technician, you will work within a collaborative drafting team to produce accurate, detailed engineering drawings to support the Process Engineering division.
This includes the design of skid-based systems, site layouts, P&IDs, and detailed pipework documentation.
You'll be involved in project meetings, client site visits, and build-focused drafting to support the fabrication process.
Key responsibilities include: Producing accurate 2 D and 3 D CAD drawings for P&IDs, skid layouts, and detailed equipment/pipework models.
Creating fabrication-ready workshop drawings, including isometrics, weld maps, and traceability maps.
Collaborating with internal project stakeholders, suppliers, and clients to develop practical design solutions.
Adhering to and contributing to in-house drafting standards.
Visiting project sites to support the development of layout and installation plans.
Working closely with workshop personnel to align designs with build requirements.
Troubleshooting CAD-related software and hardware issues, and sharing learnings with the team.
The Person This role is open to both graduates as well as candidates in the early stages of their professional career.
We are looking to speak to those with a passion for process engineering and eager to work on complex, high-spec industrial systems.
You will bring: A Level 7 or level 8 Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
Ideally an understanding of mechanical/process engineering and metal fabrication practices, or a desire to learn Proficiency with 2 D and 3 D CAD tools, with adaptability across different platforms.
A practical, hands-on mindset and a drive to get the job right first time.
Good communication and team collaboration skills.
The Package Graduate: Circa 35k Experience: 40k - 45k Pension Bonus Location Based at a modern engineering facility in Charleville, Co.
Cork, with occasional client and site visits.
