Location
Our Software Engineer (Cloud‑Focused) will be an integral part of our Engineering teams in EMEA. This role is based remotely as a full‑time employee in the UK, Ireland, Estonia, Israel, the Netherlands, and Sweden. We are also open to contractors in Eastern Europe and Portugal.

The Opportunity
As a Software Engineer (Cloud‑Focused), you will work on improving the DoiT Cloud Intelligence product and implementing new features. You’ll collaborate with product managers, DevOps, and developers from other teams, and actively participate in product‑making decisions.
Your focus will be building and optimizing solutions using AI and cloud technologies, with a strong emphasis on cost optimization and performance at scale. You will enhance Ava – our AI Assistant – and a feature called Diagram, which helps customers, primarily startups and tech companies, visualize and streamline their cloud infrastructure.
You will play a key role in solving complex technical challenges, such as building scalable AI‑based systems and integrating cloud intelligence into our platform.
Responsibilities
 * Implement features from proposal through specification and implementation to maintenance, proposing additions that enhance the product.
 * Review code and participate in pull‑request reviews.
 * Improve the health of the codebase, dedicating one day per week to housekeeping to reduce technical debt.
 * Provide feedback during team planning and discussions, identifying challenges and unknowns early.
Qualifications
 * 4+ years of software development experience as a Full‑Stack Engineer.
 * Strong understanding of programming languages; preferably TypeScript and Go, but willingness to learn is essential.
 * Experience with Google Cloud or AWS in a production environment (mandatory).
 * System design experience.
 * Embraces continuous development and learning.
 * Knowledge of software engineering practices.
 * Experience with Git/GitHub.
 * Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
 * Self‑organized, goal‑oriented, self‑motivated, confident, thorough, and tenacious.
 * Ability to operate flexibly in a fast‑paced, evolving team environment.
 * Sense of humor and enjoys having fun at work.
