Job Description
This role combines accounting and payroll responsibilities to support the finance team in delivering high-quality services. Key tasks include maintaining accurate financial records, bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, VAT returns, and preparing management accounts and year-end financial statements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain accurate financial records, including bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, and VAT returns.
* Prepare management accounts and year-end financial statements.
* Manage payroll processing for a portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with statutory obligations.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A minimum of two years' experience in a similar accounting or payroll role.
* Strong working knowledge of Irish payroll and tax regulations.
* Proficiency in accounting and payroll software such as BrightPay, Sage Payroll, and Xero.
