Health & safety officer required to join a leading multnational manufacturing plant. Reporting to a health & safety manager you will play a pivotal role in creating and maintaining a safe, compliant and high-performing manufacturing environment. Acting as a trusted advisor across the production plant, you will partner with operational leaders to prevent incidents, reduce risk and embed a proactive safety culture aligned with Regional and Group standards. You will support the identification, monitoring and mitigation of health and safety risks, lead investigations where required, and ensure policies, procedures and documentation remain robust, current and fully compliant with legal and regulatory requirements. Experience : Degree or Higher Diploma (Level 7 or 8) in Health & Safety, or an equivalent professional qualification and 2 years min experience that demonstrates strong technical competence in this field. Chartered IOSH status is desirable, Experience within a manufacturing or FMCG environment would be advantageous; however, we recognise that transferable experience from other regulated or operational environments may also be valuable.
