Merlyn Showering, one of the UK and Ireland's leading shower enclosure companies, is currently recruiting for a Customer Service Representative with French in their Customer Service department. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager and based at their European Head Office in Kilkenny, the Customer Service Representative will be a 'people' person first and foremost. The successful candidate will have:

* Fluent French speaker
* Strong attention to detail and excellent communication/listening skills
* Willingness to work a flexible schedule and occasional overtime if required

Key Responsibilities
Essential Functions
* Serving customers by answering product and service questions
* Resolving product or service problems by clarifying customer issues, determining the cause, and explaining the best solution, followed by follow-up to ensure resolution
* Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
* Processing customer orders sent via fax, email, or phone
* Contacting customers to gather omitted data on orders
* Preparing and forwarding paperwork for returns and replacements on problematic orders
* Maintaining liaison with other departments for order completion
* Writing up orders, mailing catalogs, samples, and quotations to customers as required
* Performing other duties as assigned by supervisor
* Utilizing visual and spatial skills to resolve technical queries
Qualifications/Education
Experience:
* 2+ years’ experience in a similar role
* Technical customer-facing experience is an advantage
* Fluent in French and English
Skills
* Demonstrates ownership and initiative
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to handle conflict effectively
* Ability to operate under pressure
* Attention to detail in reporting and administration
