Production Scientist 1 – Blood Virus (Maternity Cover)
The role is a specific purpose contract and part of the BV project team located in Lismeehan, O’Callaghan’s Mills, Co. Clare. The position will be on‑site and reports to the BV Manager.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
* Manufacture Blood Virus Reagent Kits
* Maintain neat and accurate records as per relevant procedures and work instructions
* Update procedures to reflect current practices
* Calibrate and maintain production equipment
* Complete failure investigations where required on non‑conforming products/OOS
* Be responsible for in‑process testing of Blood Virus Reagent
* Drive process improvements within the formulation department
Essential Requirements
* Bachelor’s Degree in a Science discipline
