Ohshima Ireland is currently seeking an experienced Press Brake Setter to join our team based in our facility in Shannon, Co. Clare.

Job Description
As a Press Brake Setter, you will be responsible for:
1. Providing leadership and guidance to the team
2. Competently setting up and operating various models of Press Brake machines
3. Producing machined parts using Press Brake Machines
4. Assembling goods on production lines
5. Carrying out basic quality and testing checks
6. Coordinating daily activities to ensure efficient production operations
7. Training and mentoring team members to enhance their skills and performance
8. Monitoring and managing workflow to meet production targets and deadlines
9. Collaborating with other departments to address any production issues or concerns
10. Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as safety regulations
11. Reporting to upper management on team performance, production metrics, and any challenges faced
12. Performing preventive maintenance on equipment and troubleshooting malfunctions
13. Participating in training and educational opportunities
14. Supporting and maintaining quality standards and initiatives
Working hours: 2pm-10:30pm Monday to Thursday and 2pm-9:30pm Friday
Training will be provided in areas where skills and knowledge gaps are identified.
