We are looking for a large team of enthusiastic individuals to operate our seaweed processing line from 2nd of April for a period of 3 weeks (possibly extending to 5 weeks).
At The Seaweed Co. Green Turtle, we operate the largest seaweed farm in Ireland situated in the pristine waters of Mulroy Bay (Co. Donegal). At our farm, we cultivate the edible seaweed Alaria, as a food source. Our tender and tasty Alaria forms the main ingredient of our SeaMeat® product, a blend that is being used to create hybrid meat products, such as burgers with 25% less meat. Our Alaria is naturally grown on ropes in the sea and in April needs to be harvested and processed. In Downings, we have built a state-of-the-art processing line, to cut, dry and package the freshly harvested seaweed.

The processing line runs 7 days a week, 24-hrs a day, divided into 8-hour shifts that can start during morning, afternoon or night.

Your tasks will involve:
