Job Title: Service Technologist
* This role involves traveling to customer sites in Ireland and occasionally the UK or EU to install, service, and provide training on various equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform installation, start-up, and operator training for industrial equipment installations.
* Troubleshoot technical problems with installed equipment, either remotely or onsite, to identify and correct issues.
* Provide information to engineering teams as needed to escalate ongoing problems.
* Schedule and prioritize service trips among a global team.
* Develop positive customer relationships and prepare accurate and timely service call and expense reports.
* Conduct formal training classes with customers and develop product documentation, training material, and customer training courses.
Requirements:
* 1+ years of experience in a field service role working with electromechanical equipment.
* A strong professional with excellent communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Experience using a structured support process and proven track record in producing relevant report material.
* Automation and controls experience, along with mechanical and electrical wiring knowledge and associated standards.
* Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work as a team player, and maintain integrity.
Desirable Skills:
* Mechanical and CAD knowledge.
* Troubleshooting of electrical circuits.
* Commercial awareness and relationship management skills.
