Wexford.
With 78 well-appointed bedrooms, a ballroom, restaurant, meeting facilities, wellness spa, and leisure centre-all set within mature gardens and a Senses Walk-we are committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences in a welcoming environment.
Role Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced, friendly and professional Rooms Division Revenue / Front Office Manager to join our team.
The candidate will be responsible for maximising rooms revenue, occupancy, and profitability through effective management of Front Office and Reservations coordination.
This is a commercially driven leadership role ove front office function with direct accountability for room sales performance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Rooms Revenue and Sales Performance Drive rooms revenue through active pricing, yield management, and inventory control.
Monitor and manage occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, pick-up, and forecasts.
Develop and implement strategies to maximise revenue during high-demand event periods.
Identify opportunities to increase average room rates through packaging and upselling.
Take ownership of rooms revenue targets and performance reporting.
2. Reservations Lead and manage the reservations function for leisure, corporate, group, and event business.
Ensure high conversion of enquiries, particularly wedding and event-related accommodation.
Manage OTA, direct, corporate, and contracted business to optimise channel mix.
Control rate parity, availability, restrictions, and commission costs.
Ensure group blocks, cut-off dates, release policies, and rooming lists are actively managed.
3. Front Office Leadership amp; Operations Lead a revenue-aware Front Office team focused on upselling, add-ons, and guest retention.
Ensure Front Office staff are trained to handle event and wedding enquiries professionally and confidently.
Maintain a strong management presence at the Front Desk during peak check-in/out and event periods.
(This is not a Mon-Fri role, some weekend work will be required Oversee all Front Office procedures including billing, cash handling, and night audit.
Ensure clear daily communication between Front Office, Events, and other departments.
4Financial and Cost Control Control payroll and departmental costs across Front Office.
Monitor OTA commission, group rates, and contracted business margins.
Ensure accurate billing and posting of event-related accommodation revenue.
Identify opportunities to increase profitability from event accommodation.
5Systems, Reporting Compliance Ensure effective use of PMS, channel manager, and event systems.
Produce regular reports on rooms revenue, pick-up, event accommodation performance, and forecasts.
Ensure compliance with GDPR, cash handling, and company policies.
Implement and enforce Front Office, reservations, and events-related SOPs.
Complete a monthly report to the General Manager.
Essential Requirements 3-5 years' experience in a Rooms Division, Front Office, Reservations, or Revenue- focused role.
Strong experience managing room sales, reservations, and group/event accommodation.
Proven commercial and numerical ability.
Strong PMS, channel management, and reporting skills.
Confident leader with the ability to challenge and drive performance.
Desirable Requirements Experience in a hotel with weddings, conferences, and group business.
Revenue management or yield training.
Experience managing group contracts and room blocks.
Hospitality qualification.
Personal Attributes Highly commercial and revenue-focused.
Organised, structured, and forward-planning.
Strong communicator across departments.
Calm under pressure during peak event periods.
Takes ownership and accountability for results.
