Business Development Professional
We are seeking a driven and ambitious professional to provide quotations, build relationships and manage customer accounts.
About the Role:
* Proactively source new leads and opportunities in line with targets.
* Follow up on sales leads and quotations to secure business.
* Record all calls and client interactions with detailed notes in company CRM.
* Build and manage a strong sales pipeline, ensuring forecasts are recorded.
* Produce regular progress reports.
* Prepare and source rate quotations for customers in collaboration with teams.
* Complete a high volume of accurate and competitive quotes annually.
* Oversight key accounts, ensuring high levels of service delivery.
* Regularly review all accounts to confirm charges are in line with guidelines.
* Meet with senior directors to review account performance and implement new business.
* Develop effective relationships with customers, suppliers, partners, and colleagues.
* Focusing on understanding customer needs and delivering solutions that increase satisfaction and profitability.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* At least 2 years logistics experience with a strong understanding of freight forwarding.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, proficient in Microsoft Office.
