Senior Associate, Fund Reporting Location: Dublin (hybrid working, 4 days in the office) About the Role An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Associate within the Financial Reporting team. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing and reviewing financial statements for complex funds, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review accounting statements for complex funds on behalf of clients, working closely with auditors and stakeholders. Review balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement, and statement of shareholders equity for complex funds to ensure reconciliation. Draft financial statements and reports, incorporating fund calculations, for client review; oversee the work of junior colleagues to ensure accuracy and completeness. Ensure financial reports comply with relevant corporate and regulatory standards, implementing updates as required. Collaborate with auditors and stakeholders to adjust financial reports and ensure they reflect fund performance. Contribute to board presentation materials. Candidate Profile Bachelors degree in accounting (or equivalent combination of education and experience). 57 years experience preferred, ideally within a fund administrator or professional services firm (including Big 4) with exposure to fund investments. Strong knowledge of double entry and financial accounting principles, with exposure to IFRS (or equivalent). Professional accounting qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) preferred. Familiarity with IFRS, US GAAP, Lux GAAP, and investment fund structures (mutual funds, hedge funds, etc.). Experience with financial reporting platforms (e.g., Confluence Unity, DFIN Arc Reporting) advantageous. Provides guidance to less experienced colleagues and may have people management responsibilities depending on geography. Contributes to the achievement of team objectives.
